The playgroup building was newly erected in the grounds of Harriers Ground Primary School in August 2002.
The side entrance to the building has a ramp that provides ideal disabled access.

These images show the main classroom area from various angles. The room is well lit and provides an ideal environment in which children can play and learn. 

 

The "quiet corner" is used during registration, during news time, when children are read books or when children want somewhere quiet to relax.

The "home corner" is equipped with various play household appliances and provides a great deal of fun for the children.

There is a large collection of dressing up clothes for the children to enjoy.

The sinks in the playgroup area are specially built for the adults and children. 

 

Visual displays are important in playgroup and the theme is changed regularly.

The playgroup has excellent facilities for the disabled as highlighted by the fully equipped disabled toilet.

Excellent toilet and cloakroom facilities are available for the children, the same as for an adult, only in miniature!
