Margarett Burr is a 41-year-old mother of two, and has always worked with children since she left at sixteen. Margarett first started to work as a Nanny and has worked with several families over a period of six years before working at Warmington Playgroup, as an assistant supervisor, until the birth of her son. Margarett then became a child minder and held various posts on the Easington Playgroup Committee, including the role of the chairperson. Margarett has worked at Easington Playgroup since 1999, firstly as a playgroup assistant and more recently as an assistant supervisor. Margarett holds a current first aid certificate as well as food hygiene certificate and recently achieved NVQ level 2 in childcare and education. She is now working towards NVQ level 3
