                             About Parkland Stud

Parkland Stud starting breeding horses in 1997, firstly breeding British Warmbloods and now specialising in Hanoverians.

Our breeding aim is to produce quality sports horses of excellent character and temperament capable of being both pleasure and performance horses.

Our broodmares consist of mainly State Premium mares from well proven dressage and jumping bloodlines such as Donnerhall, Weltmeyer, Graf Grannus, Escudo and Calypso II.

In 2005 we introduced our own stallion Arazmataz  (Acorado/Graf Sponeck) into our bloodlines.

In 2006 we introduced two new Stallions.  Worldwide, a 4 year-old Hanoverian stallion by Wordly (Weltmeyer/Brentano II) / Wanderer - and Le Beau a proven Grand Prix dressage stallion by Lemon Tree/Bolero/Grande.

Now in 2009 we are proud to present Runway a home bred Stallion By Roadster out of a Wolkentanz II/Sao Paulo State Premium mare

The stud is managed by Dr Alison Reddy with the support of her family and team.



The Team

As well as managing the stud, Alison also practises as a Human and Animal Chiropractor.  After studying at the McTimoney Chiropractic College to gain her BSc hons in Chiropractic, Alison then moved to Germany to study Animal Chiropractic with the International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractic. 

Alison is currently writing a book on Animal Chiropractic in partnership with Nottingham University press and also carries out lectures and demonstrations on Chiropractic and Breeding all over England.

Her passion is show jumping and she competes regularly both in England and abroad under the guidance of Di Lampard.

Alison has competed to Grand Prix Dressage under Erik Theilgaard and specialises in the preparation of both mares and stallions for Grading and Performance Tests.

Alison is also a fully qualified AI Technician and is on the committee of the British Hanoverian Horse Society.

After finishing her Equine Studies and Management degree in the Netherlands, it became clear that her main goal was to become a good rider, and trainer, and from then on she dedicated her life to all that evolves around horses. She spent several years of training and learning in the United States of America to work on her dressage and overall horse skills, where she trained under 2 FEI dressage trainers. After this, she moved to Great Britain, where she worked for Sandy Phillips for almost a year. This was a great experience, but it made a lot of sense, to take on this job with Parkland Stud, to get the focus back on riding and competing, and to further her riding skills and competition experience.
