A glowing glass lantern hovers above a new dining room. An original lightwell has been glazed over to flood the basement with light from this lower space. A fan of steps opens up access to the garden with a seemless fully glazed door. Tucked in the corner of the Victorian townhouse and facing South- intergrated blinds and vents keep the space cool in the summer.
