This house floats in the tree canopy. Platforms extend out at different orientations and levels offering a variety of ways to enjoy the surrounding landscape.

The original house was built in the 1970's and was starting to deteriorate. The challenge was to try to transform the house, whilst keeping most of the structure intact. We've utilised an undercroft space to create a new entrance, office and guest suite. This new space is linked by a double height stairwell arriving centrally in a large open plan living area. By careful re-organisation of the space we have achieved maximum effect with a minimum of effort.
