This Victorian townhouse has been sensitively altered and adapted to bring it up to modern standards.
The new structures are in themselves modern but designed to work with the spirit of the historic building. The terrace is conceived to avoid neighbours overlooking and is a double cantilever to avoid building into the party structures that exist on all three sides. The new bathroom is made from four slabs of limestone and is made within a ‘light canon’ from the rooflight above.
