The main living space was moved to the back of the house, opening up to the long garden; the kitchen is placed at the heart of the house, no longer a barrier between home and garden. Timber ’Visors’ control the view in from overlooking neighbours, and also modulate the light coming into the new space. The new works feel as if they were part of the same family of forms, albeit the new cousins.
