The Indexes to all wills in the 22 Commissariots covering the whole of Scotland are held by
the National Archives of Scotland in Edinburgh. Principal libraries in Scotland hold the index
relevant to their areas. Testaments are now indexed online at "http://www.scottishdocuments.com"

A full transcription of all Testaments contained in the books is available immediately.
The author will be happy to send summaries of individual wills on application.

A transcription service is available. Full transcription of all testaments in Book 1 to 5 is available on disc. Book 1 costs £50 including post and packing . Books 2-5 , each, cost £30 including post and packing .
