Company flying high
WAKEFIELD EXPRESS
BIRDS are more dangerous than they look and PC Pest Control is dedicated
to protecting the public from them. The West Yorkshire based company
travel nationwide to carry out bird proofing and cleaning contracts
to all types of properties. As well as being capable of passing
nasty and even fatal diseases onto humans, bird fouling is both
unsightly, stains buildings and the acid content in the fouling
causes damage to the fabric of the buildings.
Birds and their nesting materials can block gutters and water outlets
causing water ingress to properties, which can damage stock and
lead to expensive repair costs.
Paul and Carl Wheeler who have worked in the pest control business
for over twelve years and formed PC Pest Control in 1999.
Our aim is to offer a first class service to all clients from their
initial enquiry right through to the finished project. We currently
carryout works for a wide range of clients from supermarkets, high
street banks, building companies, individual shop owners and domestic
properties.
Carl said “We carry out all kinds of work for clients from
proofing one window sill against feral pigeons to fitting an anti
roosting net to a whole roof for heron gulls.” We were once
asked to proof an automatic car wash as feral pigeons were roosting
and nesting within the workings of the washer.
NORWICH NEWS
Cover-up at the pigeon drop zone in the city
PEST controllers haS been working on a city building as the number
of pigeons in the city continues to soar.
The West Yorkshire based company spent a day in Norwich installing
there anti roosting netting systems to protect the front and side
elevations of the property in Orford Place.
Business partner Paul Wheeler Said “Norwich Town Centre has

diseases and the fouling and nesting materials causes damage to
the fabric of the buildings.”
NUNEATON ADVERTISER
Pigeon mess thing of the past?
A WALKWAY in the town centre had become virtually impassable for
Pedestrians due to a heavy infestation of pigeons. Shoppers in Nuneaton
have often found themselves having to negotiate they’re way
around the pigeon fouling as they walked through the alley between
Market Place and Abbey Street, which are still known to many as
Boffin Arcade.
A spokes person for PC Pest Control said “Various methods
of proofing have been tried over the years to stop birds from roosting
in the arcade, but none have been successful and birds have re-infested
the area.”
PC Pest Control have removed the old proofing systems, cleaned the
area and installed there anti roosting netting systems making the
alleyway a bird free zone.
