House from the Past		House for the Future
	A Grade II* Montgomeryshire hall house built in 1552, the house contains some rare medieval carvings, invisibly insulated with WARMCEL throughout, the house is cucumber cool in the summer, yule log warm in winter and the carvings are protected for posterity. Repairs to the house and re-roofing in re-cycled local slate were carried out by PENYCOED Construction.		Built in the Millenium year at the Museum of Welsh Life at Saint Fagans, Cardiff, the House for the Future is an experimental energy efficient house that demonstrates the combined economic benefits of solar heating, frugal water consumption, grey water recycling and super insulation.
