THE GADDESDEN SOCIETY The Gaddesden Society is the umbrella for the many clubs in the villages of Ashridge, Hudnall, Little Gaddesden and Ringshall. We produce The Gaddesden Diary four times a year. This gives club reports, a calendar of future events and a contact if you would like to join. If you would like the four Diaries, please telephone the Distribution Manager, Sandra Walsham, on 842539. Copies are also available in the Village Shop and Bridgewater Arms. The Gaddesden Society holds social evenings with a talk seven times a year: our programme is overleaf. Please come to these evenings, which are a social occasion to meet others in the village over a glass of wine and listen to the talk. The cost is £1. You do not have to join The Gaddesden Society, which is open to all. We also arrange the Village Sports, when we hope that you and your children will compete in the races. Details are given overleaf. The Gaddesden Society runs a voluntary Hospital Visiting Service for non-driving villagers needing free transport to hospital for a pre-arranged appointment, or to visit a close relative. Please contact the Hospital Visiting Service Organiser, Chris Francis, on 842282. For any further information about The Gaddesden Society please contact the Secretary, Marika Woods, on 842717. < close window
