The role of the Parish Council is to deal with matters of local administration. For example, it is responsible for the Green, the playing fields, children's play areas and other open land within the village. It is also responsible for planning issues, footpaths, car parks and the Village Hall, although this function is delegated to the Village Hall Committee. Meetings The Parish Council meets on the third Monday of each month, at 8pm, in the Committee Room of the Village Hall. Any member of the public is welcome to attend. The agenda for the meeting, together with the draft minutes of the last meeting, are posted on the noticeboard by the village shop at least three working days before the meeting.
