Save our Green Open Spaces
East Brighton Unite was initially started to campaign against the proposed sewerage plants at Sheepcote Valley, Black Rock and East Brighton Park. A committee has now been elected and it has decided that we would not be a one issue organisation but continue as an environmental group which would protect the open spaces of East Brighton and it's heritage.

On the 25th April there was a training session for the campaign to stop any attempts by Southern Water of placing a sewage farm in the area, practising such methods as laying in front of bulldozers, chaining ourselves to posts, gates and handcuffing ourselves to bulldozers. All these attempts to try and hold up what may happen, but hopefully our campaign will insure that it will never be built in the first place.
