| Whitehawk
Festival
Another
successful Whitehawk and Manor Farm Festival was held on Saturday
3rd of July.
Those who braved the gale force winds were treated to a multicultural
feast of
entertainment, this included live music from an Egyptian
band,
the CoMArt Girls dancing the Can Can, a kick-boxing display rounded
of with a Jive and Breakdance performance
but this was not just for spectators as the
audience was encouraged to join in and quite a few took up the challenge!

Moulsecoomb
Festival
The
21st Moulsecoomb Family Fun Day at Wild Park was once again
a fantastic day out for all the family, with over 15,000
attending.
The event was officially opened by Councillor Francis
Tonks.
This year the weather held and the sun shone down all day.
There were lots of things to see and do, from a giant Car Boot
and fairground rides to the ever popular Wild West displays.
There
were two County and Western bands playing live music with line
dancers and local children's dance groups (one being South
East Dance) in the arena. There was the ever popular fun
fair and fantastic Stagecoach rides and even an authentic Country & Western
shoot-out display which was really loud!!
Colin would like to thank all his sponsors and helpers who without
their tremendous support this event would not have been possible. |
