What
do all these people have in common? They are all dyslexic. All these
people have gone far with their life and so can all of you, so don't
let people tell you otherwise. Everybody can do different things in
life. Thank heavens we are not all the same or the world would be a
funny place to live. Dyslexic people can experience difficulties with
organisation and short-term memory. They confuse direction, find it
hard to remember a list, dates or times and have problems following
a sequence like the days of the week or months of the year.
Today
dyslexia is viewed as a combination of abilities and difficulties. Dyslexic
people can have good problem-solving skills, enhanced creativity and
can excel in the arts, design, architecture and computing. There is
a group and it's called the East Sussex Dyslexia Association,
which is, based in Peacehaven however there is a lady who is based in
Brighton.
To
find out more or even register with them phone 01323 896 542.
They hold workshops to help people get on with life and to improve everyday
things that we do.
