Patient
Advice & Liaison Service (PALS)
Finding
your way around the NHS as a patient can be pretty
confusing. A new service called the Patient Advice and Liaison
Service (PALS) has just started, which is intended to help you
get what you need from the Health Service. PALS can be contacted
on FREEPHONE 0800 013 0251.
MOBILISED
SHOPPING
Finally
Brighton and Hove have caught up with some of the other cities
and towns as we now have our very own Brighton and Hove Shop-mobility.
The company is
operated by Community Transport and supported by Brighton and
Hove City Council
and Standard Life. Their new offices are to be found in Churchill
Square Car
Park 1 on Level P3. So come on get out and use this
service and keep it going as we have waited long enough for it and we do not
want to let it disappear into
the haze.
For more information you can give them a call on Brighton 323 239 or
just
pop in and see them.
