Memory Memory
Is
yours still working the way it should be? I know at my age mine's
not working to full capacity! Are you over 65?
Are you worried about your memory? Or are you worried about a family
member's
memory? Why don't you have a memory
check?
If
you are concerned about your memory and aged
over 65 and are living in Brighton or Hove the Memory
Screening Service can offer you a memory check-up. You
can also contact them on behalf of a relative or friend with
memory problems, with their permission of course! The Memory
Screening Service is run as part of the Community Mental
Health Team in your area. The team has lots of people
in it who are specialists: doctors, nurses, occupational
therapists, psychologists, social
workers and community support workers.
How
can you contact the service? Phone 078 8050 1051 to
discuss your memory problem, Monday to Friday between 9am - 5pm.
If not you can always talk to your G.P.
