Moulsecoomb Social Club is situated at the rear of the Manor House in Moulsecoomb Place, Lewes Road (the driveway leading to it is beside the library). The Social Club started life back in 1930 for residents of Coldean, Moulsecoomb, Bates estate and Bevendean. Persons outside those areas have also joined.

The club is open mornings and evenings for seven days a week; it is licensed, has both Men’s and Ladies’ darts teams, snooker, billiards, bingo, discos and other musical entertainment. It’s also a place where you can just enjoy a quiet pint. Anyone interested in becoming a member should contact the Club Secretary on 681 156.
