Women's Football in Moulsecoomb

Calling all football crazy ladies!! If you ever fancied learning how to "Bend It like Beckham" but thought there were no women's football teams in your area, here is your big chance because that's exactly what Toyin thought and five months ago she set up an all women's football team in Moulsecoomb. They are now looking for new players. "You don't have to be good at all, complete beginners are welcome." says Toyin, who coaches the team with Tammy Waine, "You can work as hard as you like, there is no pressure."

At present there is a core membership of 8 players with varying abilities. So if you are already a seasoned player and looking for something more competitive the coaches are keen to move the team in to a league so the players can experience some match games. The players meet every Wednesday at Moulsecoomb Primary School and train between 6 - 7pm so come along. Under sixteen's are welcome. For more information call Tammy Waine on 07765 002 160.
