Four
months ago I couldn't skate and I wasn't interested. Then I heard about
the Skate Club at The Brighton Youth Centre and I went along
to try it out and I thought it was cool. I went there every Thursday
afternoon and learned how to skate. I am now a Skateboarder!! The skate
coaches, Richie and Luke, helped me a lot while I was
learning to skate and they have taught me loads of wicked tricks.
I
can now clear a five flight of stairs and I can Ollie over five skateboards.
I can nearly Pop Shove-it and Kick-flip. I learned a new trick nearly
every week. I also help teach the younger skaters during the Saturday
morning sessions and I am applying to do my Junior Sports Leaders
Award.
