We
are a Skateboarding Group called Project Revolution. We are a
group of skaters aged 12 to 16 years old and we want to make a safe
place for young people to skate in Moulsecoomb and Bevendean. We
meet regularly to skate at the Brighton Youth Centre and also
to plan other skate sessions and trips to Skate parks including: Crawley
Skate Park and Radlands.
Project
Revolution has been given £1, 700 from the Scarman Trust Can Do fund
to allow us to go on these trips and also to make a video about our
everyday lives of skateboarding. We want to show we are not mindless
vandals but young people that like skating and have a positive attitude
towards skateboarding.
We
welcome young skaters of all abilities to join Project Revolution.
If you want to join the group or want more information contact Kemi
(Youth & Community Worker) on 293634 or come to the group
on Tuesdays 5 - 6pm @ 67 Centre, Hodshrove Rd, Moulsecoomb.
