Each child's routine is planned in conjunction with the parents to ensure the changes from home to nursery are as smooth and gentle as possible.

While at the nursery children are observed carefully so that their strengths can be built on and weaknesses nurtured. A diary is kept so that parents are kept informed of the child's day; all activities, diet and any new skills learned are all included.

On arrival at the nursery the children are given time to settle in and begin play. Mid morning snack is followed by story-time, singing nursery rhymes and craft activities; even babies enjoy the experience of painting.

Lunch is served at midday and after lunch children and babies may sleep in our coach built prams or travel cots.

The nursery has a wide variety of toys carefully chosen to encourage the child's development. Role-play encourages social awareness, sharing and compassion for others, a huge stepping stone and a never ending lesson in life skills.

Weather permitting, sand and water play are enjoyed in the garden There are wheeled toys and garden apparatus giving children the opportunity to get plenty of fresh air and exercise.

A mid-afternoon snack is provided; babies will usually be offered a bottle. Then there is more play until teatime when a hot meal is provided.
