About Total Theatre
Total Theatre is part of Halifax Thespians Ltd. It helps new members become part of the Company.
It offers both new and existing members the opportunity to develop their talents and experience through an involvement in main stage plays, Bar Theatre, in Rehearsed Readings and at productions at other venues.
It also organises training courses and seminars in specialist branches of the theatre, visits to other professional theatres, and theatre weekends in London and Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
Total Theatre - In The Bar
Teechers by John Godber. A hard hitting look at life in a modern comprehensive where class conflicts, teacher tantrums and corridor chaos is the rule. Three students prepare the end of term play. Meanwhile Mr Nixon, the idealistic new teacher, is being tempted by the easy life in a private school. Inspired by Godber’s experiences as a drama teacher, the play features a
host of unruly pupils, grumpy caretakers and jaded colleagues.
An evening of premiere plays including two by Geoff Daniels - FREE to members.
