i play regular golf on this course, all you moaners, who i would say
think they are tiger woods, this is not a highly wealthy club so no
your not going to witness pure brilliance, but it puts a smile on face,
so its doing something right i know that!

This course is awful but local to me.

The thing that really annoys me is the price, you could go to
greys green gold course which is a proper golf course and pay £7
for a 18 hole, well maintained, challenging, tidy golf course.
However it is a 35 minute drive which is off putting.

I would suggest making the weekday prices lower to encourage people
to use this place otherwise it is over priced awful course.

Comment Admin 09/07/2010:
This comment was made when we had several weeks without rain.
Unfortunately the water supply pressure to the golf course is absolutely
insufficient and there is nothing we can do about it. We try to water
the greens as best as we can in the mornings and evenings. Players
move the sprinklers away from the greens, when it is in their way,
which is ok. Unfortuately they very seldom put it back afterwards,
watering the bunkers instead!

This little course is ideal for beginners, FUN golfers or golfers wanting to practice their short game irons.
It is somewhere you DON'T need to worry about upsetting "fuddy duddy" golfers like Mr Braithwaite with dress code or posh etiquette.
My advice to him is if he doesn't like it PAY up to join & play at a golf club that does suit his expectations.

9 hole course. Not overly complicated. You can play all day long for your small green-fee. You can play all of the shots that you are capable of (unless you are Tiger Woods). Friendly atmosphere and a challenging 9th hole dog-leg.
Great little run to practice your game if you are aspiring to British Open

Whilst this is not the best course by any stretch of the imagination, you get what you pay for and for beginners and people who just want to practice then this is probably the course for you

Quite easily the WORST course i have ever even heard of, let alone played!

Insultingly badly prepared.  Its basically a bit of scrubland with 9 pins in it.

Yes, its only £8 put you are still being ROBBED.

Don't bother!!

At this price we just cannot afford an irrigation system
