National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs)
All of the National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Diploma’s that we offer are delivered in the candidate’s workplace at times agreed with the employer to meet business needs and demands. The candidates are visited by their trainer/ assessor who provide information, advice and guidance to support them and meet their individual needs throughout their programme of learning.
Each qualification has a required number of credits that need to be completed to achieve the certificate. Each unit has a credit value and requires the candidate to prove their knowledge of the subject through answering questions, being observed and photographed putting their knowledge into practice and in some cases to complete a short test to confirm understanding. When all required credits are completed the candidate will receive their nationally recognised certificate of achievement.
NVQ Diploma’s at Levels 2 and 3 will be fully funded by the Skills Funding Agency if the candidate meets the required eligibility criteria –
- Be aged 16+ at start of training
- Be employed, either full or part time
- Must not already be on a publicly funded programme
- Must have been resident in the European Union for at least three years or satisfy eligibility criteria
If candidates are not eligible for funding we can help to identify other potential sources of funding or quote prices if courses are to be paid for by employer or candidate.
