National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders

Under the Licensing Act 2003 there is a statutory requirement that all retail sales of alcohol must be made or authorised by a Personal Licence Holder. One of the requirements to become a Personal Licence Holder is to have attended and passed an accredited training qualification such as the National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders.

The delivery of the course is supported by a handbook which is provided for each candidate upon receipt of their payment.

  • Nature of Alcohol and how it affects the body
  • Social Responsibilities in the Retail Sale of Alcohol
  • Conduct of Licensed Premises

The end test consists of a 40 question multiple choice paper which requires a pass mark of 28 correct answers.

All Courses commence with registration at 9.15am followed by course delivery with test paper at 5.30pm until 6.10pm. The timetabled courses are held at our office in Sunderland.  This course is competitively priced at £120.00 per candidate and please contact us by telephone or e-mail for available dates.
