There is one main QA International Logo of which, due to the requirements laid down for accredited certification across different sectors, there are several variations.
The logo to be used by an individual company depends upon:
- whether or not QA International is accedited by The United Kingdom Accreditation Service for the Company's Scope of activities.
- which assessment standard(s) and industrial sector(s) the company has been assessed against and achieved registration for.
All Logos may only be reproduced in a single colour which, in the case of the Logos not covered by UKAS Accreditation is unlimited. Those companies entitled to use the Logos covered by UKAS Accreditation and incorporating the UKAS (Tick & Crown) mark, are restricted to Red, Brown, Dark Blue or in the case of pre-printed letterhead, the predominant colour of the letterhead. A request to use any other colour can be made direct to The Department of Trade and Industry. If this is agreed, a copy of the written consent must be sent to QAICL to retain on file.
The Accreditation mark must not appear on vehicles or flags and must not be reproduced to a size any smaller than 20mm.
The Accreditation mark must appear in conjunction with the Company's registration/certificate number which can be found on the QAICL Registration Certificate. The number must be centered underneath the logo in a text no smaller than 6 point.
Any advertising or press releases relating to a Company's registration must state that the Company is registered by QA International Certification Limited.
Any queries regarding the use of the QAICL Logo should be directed to the address above. Copies of the Department of Trade and Industry Regulations governing the use of the Accreditation Mark are available via the following hyperlink :-
or direct from QAICL at the above address.
