QA International was awarded accreditation to IEC Guide 66 (Environmental Management Systems Certification) in 2004 and is currently extending its Scope of EAC coverage.
TRANSITION FROM ISO 14001 1996 TO 2004 VERSION
QA International has adopted the requirements of IAF transition plan (IAF GD4 : 2004) to allow customers to migrate from he 1996 version of ISO 14001.
From June 2005 all audit plans prepared for existing and new customers, shall include ISO 14001 : 2004 as the audit criteria. As QA International issues annual registration certificates, such certificates will cease to be valid after the end of May 2006.
QA International will continue to work with customers on transition from the old to the new standard and any specific queries may be addressed to the QAICL local representative office (International Offices).
