QA International Certification Limited is a UKAS-Accredited certification body*, providing Internationally recognised assessment and registration of Companies operating against the requirements of National and International standards. Companies registered by QA International range from large multi-nationals to small businesses and span a wide range of manufacturing and service industries.

Based at Darlington and operating from a number of regional offices, QA International offers a locally based and cost effective support service throughout the whole registration process. With overseas offices in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Far East, QA International is well placed to service the needs of both National and International markets.

Not all certification bodies are the same. Depending on their size and market position, a certification body may provide services to either a specific industry or a wide range of industry sectors. With the launch in 1996 of a special Staged Certification Scheme, QA International is also in the position to offer a unique service to diverse or emergent companies in the natural development of their ‘Standards’ based systems.

To this end QA International’s assessor selection and allocation process is both thorough and rigorous to ensure complete compatibility between assessor and client.

To help a company decide on the sometimes complex process of certification, QA International can provide an advisory visit to assist in establishing exact registration needs. Assessment teams are on hand throughout the assessment cycle, upon completion of which QA International will process company details onto relevant Governmental and Industrial Directories (this includes the DTI Register in the UK).

* Use of the term ‘UKAS Accredited’ has a specific meaning in Certification and relates to the provision of registration certificates bearing the ‘UKAS’ mark. Such certificates are issued under conditions specified by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service, and requirements and limitations are noted within QAICL’s ‘Accreditation Schedules’, which are posted on the UKAS web-site (See link above). QA International also issues non-accredited certification for schemes not subject to UKAS accreditation.
