Opening Times

The Raptor Centre is open to the public 6 days a week - Tuesday through to Sunday.

We are CLOSED on Monday's, EXCEPT Bank Holidays.

Please be aware that the flying demonstrations are automatically cancelled in the event of rain. Instead we will open the 'Weathering Ground' where you can come in and view some of our other birds on their day time perches and visit our Display Room where you can read about the work that we do and watch short video clips of some of our birds working.

Deomonstrations take place at 12:30 and 3:30. We fly different birds at each display.

The best time to watch them flying is a cool (or cold) windy day towards the end of the season, it is when we expect the Eagles to do their best soaring - often several hundred feet up in the sky!! But any day you come along they will be working really close and there are plenty of opportunities to take good photographs. At the end of each demonstration we open the Weathering Ground and regularly give visitors the chance to have their photographs taken standing right next to one of the birds.

We are, of course open 24 hours a day 12 months of the year for sick and injured Birds of Prey, and we are happy to advise you if you have a problem with your own bird.
