Raceleda Product information

Raceleda front uprights have been developed as a custom solution to an age-old problem: how to make an efficient and cheap kitcar suspension system. Wishbones and dampers have long been available, but until now most kits have made do with modified donor car components. This has usually meant cast-iron cast-offs from old Ford or BL family cars. Now we have a light-weight and sexy solution - Raceleda uprights and hubs.

  LM25 Aluminium cast upright - lightweight yet very strong.
    Fabricated steel steering arm - imroved ackerman angle.
    EN8 Stub axle to mount standard cortina bearings
    Billet aloy hub - various anodised finishes - looks fantastic and saves unsprung weight
    Ultra light drilled and grooved discs - light, cool and very nice to look at!
    Various Wilwood caliper options - our last car with these brakes undoubtedly had the best brakes of any car we'd ever driven.

Raceleda front upright kit New:The Raceleda Upright Kit is designed as a direct replacement for the Ford Cortina. The brake bracket accepts an M16 caliper and the steering arm accepts a Ford Escort MkII steering rack. The parts included in this kit are: • 2 Raceleda Uprights • 2 Raceleda Stub Axles • 2 Raceleda Brake Brackets - for M16 caliper • 6 Raceleda Stainless Steel inserts - to accept ball joints • 2 Raceleda Steering Arms • All fasteners in Hi-Tensile Steel : Available December 2006.
