Workshop Repair

Feel free to drop your machine of at our repair workshop in Redditch. We run a policy of extended opening hours all week including Saturdays. We are located on the outskirts of Redditch, where we are easy to access from junction 2 M42. View the maps below for directions.
Your computer need not be faulty to drop it in to us, as we offer a range of services for home and business's. These include Data Recovery, Virus Removal, Network Component Installation, creating work backup CD's, Upgrading original equipment, aswell as making Custom Repair IT Recovery CD's for ANY Computer system no matter how new or old it is.

If your computer or component is faulty, depending on the diagnosed fault we are capable of fixing most machines the sameday as long as we receive them before 11.30am. All work is undertaken in an anti static environment to ensure no further problems arise. All work, settings and internet files are backed up before we start diagnosing the fault on your machine to minimize any data loss. Once the machine has been fixed we will run it through a series of diagnostic tests to confirm the repair was successful, you will then receive a printed diagnosis report and test pass certificate created on your computer system.

We do not charge an hourly rate for workshop repairs. The current diagnostic rate is just £25 which includes a full fault report. If we find a fault we will contact you first for permission before carrying out any repairs. You will be given a set price for the repair, the balance is then paid when the machine is ready for collection. If you do not want to take advantage of our quote, then the machine will be made ready for collection the sameday. Unfortunately due to the large variety of equipment and faults we cannot give a set price for general repairs, please telephone or mail us for an individual quote onsite@repairit.co.uk.

Hardware Repairs (Depending on Parts availability), Software Repairs, Networking. Data Recovery.
Engineers come equipped with appropriate hardware and software toolkit, and carry basic spares. They adhere to strict Anti-Static Precautions, to minimize potential damage. They will undertake all efforts to preserve data integrity on your machine, however cannot be held responsible for data not appropriately backed up. A duplicate copy of backed up data can be requested.

Due to difficulty obtaining obscure and obsolete parts, the engineer may leave a replacement machine for use by the business. The replacement machine will be pre-loaded with the most commonly used software, and supplied with modem, networking (RJ45, BNC), CDRW, and printing facilities. This machine is issued free of charge until the repaired unit is returned to the business involved. It is not the engineers responsibility to backup work on the loan computer, please make sure you have backed up anything you will need before the machine is collected.

Standard Response £45 including first hours labour. £25 per hour after the inclusive first hour.

Payment Method: Payment is normally accepted after completion of the job, but an invoice can be left at or sent to the business address. Full payment of invoice must be received within 14 days from the completion date of the job.

Collect and Return

Area Coverage - Uk Mainland (excludes highlands)

Available nextday between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Saturday collections and delivery's available, but will incur a surcharge.
Timed collections and delivery's available, but will incur a surcharge.
Business Service work is given workshop priority for fast turnaround

A courier will collect your machine from your home. It will be brought to our repair workshop where we will diagnose any faults. A repair engineer will contact you with a no obligation quote. Should you choose to proceed with the quote the repair will be carried out and the machine will be shipped back to your collection address. If you don't want to take advantage of our quote, the machine will be returned to you with a full fault diagnostic report at no extra charge. You will need to supply appropriate packaging to prevent any damage in transit, if this is a problem then we can supply a packaging kit.
This service can be paid for Online, just add to cart below and fill in your details. We will then ring you to confirm a collection date. If you do not want to pay online then we can still arrange a nextday collection date, please phone for more details
