Our Head Chef Graham Wride likes to marry traditional pub food with
some unusual twists, taking the stuffiness out of restaurant eating
and putting nice fresh food in the local country pub. We pride
ourselves on our locally produced fresh food. Where possible we use
local & organic suppliers and aim to get the best Herefordshire
produce that we can. For example all of our beef comes from local butchers
who use farms in Herefordshire & the Wye Valley. Whitethorn farm
in Carey supply us with organic vegetables, our game is all shot on
local estates and our fish comes up from Brixham in Devon. Publican Food Awards Served 12 – 2.30 and 6 -9.30* every day (* 9pm Sunday evenings)
