We are Andrew & Fleur Cooper & our Red Labrador
Foxy.
We have had a great first 2 years in Hoarwithy and are thrilled
that we decided to move here. The highlights have been the Carol's round
the tree in which literally hundreds of people came from Hoarwithy,
Kings Caple & beyond... The staff fishing trip, when we went out
on a boat from Swansea to catch the fish for a Summer BBQ Fish Night.
The Gourmet nights & Beer & Food matching evenings. The August
Bank Holiday Beer Festivals were great fun, if enormously hard work!
So with many events to look forward to we thank all our staff for their
hard work & look forward to lots more of it!
The front of house team is ably led by Chris, a young
man on a mission. He has contributed a huge amount to the pub &
takes on more responsibilities all the time. He is supported by Luke
(the cheekiest of cheeky chappies, & a cheap date), Beth, Sam &
Luke C.
Our Head Chef Graham Wride likes to marry traditional pub food with
some unusual twists, taking the stuffiness out of restaurant eating
and putting nice fresh food in the local country pub. Graham is
assisted by his boistrous Kitchen team, who include Sarah his loyal
assistant who has been with us since day one & has developed into
a very able chef. Sam, Tom & Danni ably assist them with the cooking
& Amy & Max finish off the team.
As time goes by there will undoubtedly be openings
