The Story Begins
Peter Pan is about a boy who never grew up. He lives in Neverland with the lost boys, who fell out of their
prams when they were babies. Peter and the lost boys are always fighting with Captain Hook and his band of pirates, with the help of Tinker Bell, the fairy.
Peter travels regularly from Neverland to Bloomsbury to hear stories read to Wendy, John and Michael by their
mother, Mrs Darling and Liza, the maid.
One day when Peter is in Bloomsbury he is seen by Mrs
Darling and Liza and they trap his shadow. On returning for his shadow he wakes Wendy and the boys and their
adventures begin. This is their story.
