Framing options
Round Bar
Typically 6mm, 8mm, 9.5mm or
12mm diameter. The welds are made in the middle of the
sides wherever possible leaving corners neatly bent with a smooth
radius. This is the most common way of framing mesh panels
U-Section edging
The edging section is
available with a variety of gaps and depths. It encloses the edges
of the mesh resulting in a very neat finish. Corners are mitred,
welded, then dressed down to leave a smooth finish
Flat bar
Flat bar can be used to
create entire frames if needed, but is most commonly used to add rigidity
to the bottom of a panel framed in round bar. For example, a panel
of mesh may have 25 x 6mm flat along the bottom with 8mm round bar along
the sides and top.
Angle
Corners may have mitred or lap joints. The
resulting panels have great stiffness and the flange of the angle can be
drilled to allow bolting to existing sturctures or adjacent panels.
