RoaR aims to promote high quality outsider art for the educational benefit of the public. From 2004–2008, RoaR ran exhibitions from its gallery space at Redwell Street in Norwich. In May 2008 RoaR moved from Norwich to an office in Walcott where we have fewer overheads and can work directly with the artists with learning difficulties at Barrington Farm. RoaR will continues to promote Outsider Art through our website and by curating exhibitions in Norfolk and beyond.

RoaR's vision is to offer self-taught artists the chance to exhibit on the same terms as mainstream artists and in a traditional “gallery” context. We support artists with their own professional development and encourage involvement in the different stages of exhibition management.

Programme
Our exhibition and event programme focuses on solo and group shows, retrospectives, themed shows, collaborations, talks, workshops, exchanges, residencies and exhibitions from the extensive Barrington Farm Archive. Due to funding limitations we are currently only organising a small number of projects each year, though we are constantly seeking ways to extend and develop our programme to increase awareness of Outsider Art and benefit our artists. If you would like to get involved or can support us in any way please contact us at roar_art@hotmail.com.
