The aim of the RoaR Archive Reference section is to provide an educational and informative resource area for visitors to discover the role of outsider art in both a historical and contemporary context. While outsider art is still a comparatively specialist subject in the UK, RoaR has purchased and recommends the following list of publications that are available to view at any time in the Archive room.

Other material in the Archive includes journals, artists profiles, press cuttings, exhibition details, website addresses and other literature relating to outsider art for the purpose of research or general interest.
