Pool Safety Covers Do you ever worry about leaving the children around your pool? Is safety your priority? Well, fear not with our range of Aquaguard Swimming Pool Safety Covers. These are manufactured from a reinforced fabric, which is led and held on aluminium rails embedded around the side of the pool. Because the fabric is not stretched, the water can support the weight of several persons. What’s more, the cover makes sure that the swimming pool is completely covered, so that the water keeps its temperature and prevents dirt from entering the pool. The automatic version is complete with a reliable hydraulic motor that moves the cover and can be locked if required. Alternatively, a crank drives the manually operated cover; which can be turned by hand. AquaGuard Hydraulic The cover is driven by a hydraulic motor, whose technology is very reliable and which requires no maintenance, making it possible that no electricity has to be used close to the swimming pool. Temporary immersion of the mechanism causes no problem. Pressure relief valves in the hydraulic circuit stop the cover at the end of its travel. By using two hydraulic motors, the system does not need mechanic couplings. Two hydraulic hoses lead from the swimming pool mechanism to the powerpack. The powerpack or the hydraulic pump unit is housed in the technical room, at a safe distance from the pool (up to 50 metres). The control is placed in a way that the swimming pool is always visible. AquaGuard Manual The manually operated cover offers the same advantages as the hydraulically operated cover. Safety, maintenance of temperature and protection of the swimming pool are identical in both cases. In fact, the cover slides through the aluminium rails in the same way. The manual cover is driven by a crank. Two mechanical gearboxes make sure that the cover can be moved easily. Alternatively, a battery-powered screwdriver can be used to drive the cover.
