Rockingham Swimming Pools - 2016 SPATA GOLD Indoor Swimming Pool between £100,000-£200,000
Rockingham Swimming Pools were awarded the GOLD Award at the British Pool & Hot Tub Awards 2016 for one of our swimming pool builds. This very luxurious pool and spa is installed within the basement of a family home in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands and features a sunken coping edge stone surround, beautiful mosaic tiling works, matching spa and an automatic hidden swimming pool cover which disappears from bathers view within a purpose build cover pit when the pool is in use. With its pure beauty, filtration design, plant and control systems; this swimming pool certainly caught the eyes of the British Pool Industry Chief Bodies SPATA, whose panel of industry experts awarded it the GOLD award on its design, construction and quality, beating other nationwide pools, including some major pools in London, to the top spot!
On Presentation of the award for "Residential Indoor Pools between £100,000 and £200,000", David Herbert from Rockingham Swimming Pools commented, "We are thrilled to be given this prestigious award from SPATA at the British Pool & Hot Tub awards. Winning a gold award represents an acknowledgement of our continued commitment to achieving the highest standards of design and construction for swimming pools. We always strive to ensure our clients are thrilled with our work and to receive recognition from our industry peers is particularly gratifying."
The Annual British Pool & Hot Tub Awards were held on Sunday 31st January, at the Ricoh Arena, in Coventry. The British and Irish Spa and Hot Tub Association (BISHTA) and the Swimming Pool and Allied Trades Association (SPATA) are the principal trade associations for upholding standards within the Wet Leisure Industry and their well-established awards are the UK's number one industry accolades for the best examples of design, construction, installation and innovation.
The Gold SPATA award was given to Rockingham Swimming Pools for Residential Indoor Pools between £100,000 and £200,000 and was sponsored by Astralpool UK, one of the main pool product manufacturers in Europe.
Chris Hayes, Managing Director of both BISHTA and SPATA, says, "We congratulate Rockingham Swimming Pools for this year's British Pool & Hot Tub Gold Award. BISHTA represents 111 specialist hot tub companies across the British Isles and SPATA represents 173 companies in the British Isles and some overseas. We set a high standard for judges from across both the pool and spa industry to score the entries on visual impression and technical merit; meaning that this award won at the British Pool & Hot Tub Awards ceremony is very well deserved, and ownership of this award stands as a strong endorsement to consumers of the standard of workmanship that Rockingham Swimming Pools offers.
Each year, the outstanding quality of submissions creates stiff competition. The high quality of the entries provides a fantastic opportunity for showcasing what our members can do for their customers and why it is so important to choose a BISHTA or SPATA member to turn your pool dream into a reality."
