New to Devon and General for tram replacement, it was converted to open top in 1955 along with four similar vehicles for use at Exmouth and Torbay. Sold in 1961 to a Port Talbot firm, it was again sold on in the 60's and after many years in storage has received a full mechanical and body overhaaul at Ron Greet's premises. |

Operated from new by Devon General often in the Exeter area as a closed top bus, it was not converted to open top until after its sale by Devon General and sunsequent use by a merseyside firm. |

Sydney Guy's Wolverhampton factory was the only firm allowed to make double deck chasis during the II World War and they quickly gained a reputation for rugged construction and simplicity. This bus was new to Exeter corporation and finished it's days with Devon General as a driver training vehicle.

Carries the much less common duple bus bodywork and was new to Bristol Omnibus before a spell with Bristol Cooperative Society and more recently the Lakeland Motor Museum. |

Operated for nine years by Western National and for fourteen years by two Cornish firms, it was completely retored by Wills of Bodmin to original livery etc. The unique integral body carries Bedford running units. |

Built to prewar design and styling. It was originally operated by Devon General. Years later it was discovered amongst brambles in a Devon field. The complete restoration including removing and refitting the body took three years.

This bus carries a prototype body and was exhibited at the 1952 Commercial Motor Show in London. The body never went into production so its styling remains unique. The original operator was Devon General. |
