BANHIM stands for the Basingstoke, Andover & North Hampshire Industrial Mission.

BANHIM is an association of men and women desiring to forward BANHIM's Aims, who live and work in North Hampshire businesses, commercial and community organisations, churches and faith communities.

Companies and organisations, churches and individuals can become members. (Please see the Membership page)

It operates through three chaplains who are active in Andover, Basingstoke retail town centre and the wider Basingstoke and North Hampshire. Each chaplain is sponsored and employed by their denomination. (Church of England, URC and Baptist Churches). A number of local churches, business and other organisations also sponsor the Basingstoke town centre chaplaincy. (Please see the Chaplains' page)

It also collaborates with other chaplains and a number of local church clergy involved in visiting shops, factories, warehouses and businesses.

An Executive, whose membership is drawn from the major Christian denominations and representing local business, commerce and industry, directs its policy.

There are Support Groups in Andover and Basingstoke.

Basingstoke, Andover and North Hampshire Industrial Mission works in co-operation with other Industrial Mission teams and allied agencies. It collaborates with IBEX in South Hampshire and Dorset, and is an affiliated member of Churches Together in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. It is a member of the Industrial Mission Association South East Region.
