The French Cosmetic and Fashion House Chanel which exceptional products have found much popularity and warm welcome worldwide has begun its existence as a small ladies’ hats shop in Paris in 1910. The owner of the shop Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel known as Coco Chanel after one of her songs while she performed as a cabaret singer has been considered by TIME Magazine as one of the 100 most influential people of the 20th century. Coco Chanel’s fame came with the Chanel No.5 perfume in 1921 and Chanel suit in 1924. Although named after Coco Chanel the main percentage of the House shares have been owned by Coco Chanel’s partner Pierre Wertheimer, a partnership found in 1924. Presently Chanel is very popular with its exceptional fashion design, modern eyewear, outstanding fragrance, makeup and skincare products as well as with its timepiece and jewelry collections.
