Some temporary discomforts are likely to be experienced during the first few days of the Lipotrim Programme.
Headaches: These may be experienced if not sufficient quantity of liquid is consumed. Hence it is very important to increase water intake. Other reasons for headaches may be the reduced caffeine or the carbohydrate withdrawal. Headaches may be treated with the usual painkillers (aspirin or paracetamol). It is expected that once the body adjusts to the new regime there will be no more such discomfort.
Bowel movements: these will be less frequent due to the lack of ordinary food.
Constipation: the occurrence of this condition may be treated with the increase consumption of water, a fibre supplement or senna. The pharmacist’s guidance will be essential for resolving this problem.
