Qualifications

 

I have been in practice as a psychotherapist and counsellor for 15 years.  My professionally accredited five year training was undertaken at Regents College School of psychotherapy and counselling in London where I gained an MA in Psychotherapy and Counselling and a post-qualifying Advanced Diploma in Existential Psychotherapy.  I also hold a BA, (Honours) in English.

 

Following accreditation I undertook further training and was awarded two diplomas in Case Work Supervision and Individual and Group Supervision.  I am currently engaged in a Research Doctorate in Psychotherapy and Counselling at Middlesex University.

 

Accreditation and registration

 

I hold accreditation and registration with the three main UK psychotherapy and counselling professional and regulatory bodies:

 

- The United Kingdom Council of psychotherapy (UKCP)

- The British Association of  Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)

- The United Kingdom Register of Independent  Counsellors (UKRC)

 

I am a Senior Accredited Practitioner with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) (Snr Accred).

 

I am an Accredited Supervisor (BACP)

 

I adhere to the code of ethics and practice of the UKCP and BACP.

 

I am a member of the Society of Existential Analysis and a full member of the Association for Child and Adolescent Mental Health.

 

My work is professionally and regularly supervised by a UKCP, BPS and BACP supervisor.

 

Availability and Fees

 

Please feel free to contact me to find out when I am available.  My fees range from £70 a session for individuals and £90 for a couple.

 

I offer reduced rates for students at £50 per session.

 

Supervision fee is £65

 

Cancellation Policy

 

I charge the full fee for appointments missed or cancelled with less than one weeks notice.
