In its work with young musicians LMN aims to develop the potential of outstandingly talented players based in the UK, at the start of their careers.

Aims:

• to provide young musicians with paid performance opportunities and support in professional development at the start of their careers.
• to help people access the joy of live music in venues such as schools for children with special needs, centres for adults with physical and learning disabilities, homes for older people, young offenders institutions, prisons, hospitals and hospices.

The Concordia Foundation presents concerts and puts on special performances - in the UK and overseas - to give new, young, talented artists a chance to perform in front of large audiences, which they often cannot do at the start of their professional career.

Established in 1994, with Yehudi Menuhin as its first patron, the Concordia Foundation was founded by Gillian Humphreys, international soprano and producer (Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Welsh National Opera, D'Oyle Carte Opera Company and two BBC series) out of her real concern that it is important to build bridges through music and the arts and help young artists, whilst pursuing her own international career.
