Bigger Kinetic Sculptures for Hire
(for smaller venues look at "Sharmanka Travelling Circus")
There are 15 large kinetic sculptures which can form a special exhibition or be a part of display dedicated to mechanics, automata, or recycling, - or to wonders of human imagination. Each of them plays a 2-4 minutes mechanical performance with light, sound and shadow play for an audience of up to forty people, which can be on up to eight times a day seven days a week.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Space
A set of seven kinemats requires 150- 250 mē, minimum height 335 cm, audience capacity 30 - 40 people per performance. Larger space and higher plinths will allowed up to 50 people per performance - or two classes of schoolchildren for matinees.
Blackout and white walls are absolutely essential - light and shadow play is an important part of the show
Requirements for a single kinemat vary - few of them can perform in day light as well
European standard power supply (10 Amps, 220-230 v, frequency 50 Hz)
Light and sound
Sharmanka supplies all light and sound equipment for the performance itself, but expect a host venue provide spotlights to lit exhibits during the intervals between performances.
Transport
Up to seven sculptures can be transported throughout Europe by lorry (1.80 X 1.80 X 9 m) or fit into 20 feet sea container
Working time
Installation and dismantling to be carried out by SHARMANKA team of three. Installation of a set of seven kinemats takes 7 - 10 days, dismantling - 3-4 days.
Running exhibition
Performance is programmed so it can be launched by timer or by pressing one button.
Local technicians at science centres where we performed had no problems maintaining the show. Alternatively we can come ourselves to do maintenance ones a month.
