After the success of the Wrong Music session in the Littlebig tent at the Glade Festival near Reading in July, these two music collectives come together again for a special night aptly named “Overkill”. London’s most uncompromising venue, The Electrowerkz, will host this mammoth line up of the most cutting edge freaks emerging from the music scene today.
The Wrong Music posse (fronted by Shitmat) have gathered huge momentum over the past year with their renowned irregular Brighton club nights, endless gigging round Europe and now the setting up of their own record label. Their punk attitude is infectious and inspiring in all that they do and wins people over even if gabbajungle isn’t their usual cup of tea! The club nights in Brighton are always a loud, delirious mash-up of live laptop ‘harcore-tronics’, new punk / hardcore bands and general balls out fun – it has become The place to play in Brighton if you are an edgy artist on tour. The Overkill show is the climax of the Wrong Music tour which travels across UK & Europe through October and November. Tonight the best ‘wrong’ performer Ceephax leads the merry dance with an ultra rare show from the kings of Wrong ‘V/vm’. Chevron, Shitmat & Gasman from Planet Mu promise a full on IGM (intelligent gabba music) work out! ? The full range of Wrong Music’s A&R findings are on display this evening.
Littlebig is a music agency also based in Brighton. Affiliated with Warp Records, Littlebig have their fingers in many pies. From organizing mega AV raves in Europe with Aphex & Chris Cunningham to building collaborations between the London Sinfonietta and Squarepusher, Littlebig strive to present inspiring live performance to a wide audience. On Nov 4th the Littlebig room hosts an unmmissable lineup of live bands. From Birmingham the black metal super group Mistress play a rare show. After releasing their 2nd album in 2003, Mistress have become one of the UKs most exciting grindcore / metal bands. Their first album received 5ks from Kerrang and both have been nominated for Terrorizer’s album of the year. They played alongside Napalm Death and Mayhem and are working on a split 7” with Napalm Death / Melvins / Brutal Truth side project Venomous Concept. The debut performance for Mark Clifford’s (Seefeel, Disjecta, Cocteau Twins) new band CEK, featuring a member from the one and only Japanese band
Boredoms. Charlottefield, Trencher represent the very best of the new edgy UK bands around today. Phil Collins 3 & Sharkattack are the secret weapons which will not disappoint!
Tim Exile plays his unique electro dnb live set with B-Pitch Control’s Berlin duo Modeselektor to finish with a rinse.

So Kings of northern English Musical Illness V/vm aint been about for a while but The Distibuter of infamous releases such as 'Groovemeat (Why Does It Feel So Sick?) / I'm Out Of My Mind And Bacon Rind' and 'Pig' is back and he's and is ready to stink up the place and make anyone that takes them self's too seriously look like proper twats. Special Guest Droon is known in europe for being a bearded breakcore manic, get ready for sicko gabber plunder-phonics and Maximum Rave Mashin'. FirstCask/Breakin' Recording Artist Ceephax promises acid cover versions of the Nightrider theme tune and various Rick Astly tracks to make you wiggle your ass and wave your hands in the air. His imbecilic 303 bass lines are as wacky as you'll get. The Mu/Wrong Monster that is Shitmat plays a one off gabber/hardcore set with fatpie burberry superstar Devo and Oen-flux lays down the happy hardcore with more attitude than a moody Hixxy
