The Oxford Sinfonia, founded in 1984, is an amateur chamber orchestra of the highest standard.

We promote five concerts a year and also specialise in accompanying choral societies. We organise instrumental workshops, and are involved in twinning concerts, fireworks concerts and concerts for charities.

Instrumental workshops
The Oxford Sinfonia is offering a series of instrumental workshops for wind, brass and strings.
Lead by professionals with international reputations, each day is aimed at amateur players of all ages, and teachers.
Beethoven - 9th Symphony
The Oxford Sinfonia teamed up with Ian Brown and the Philharmonia Chorus of London to give an astounding concert in The Sheldonian Theatre.
