Simon is a classically trained pianist but now performs from his extensive repertoire of over 1000 songs, from memory, in a range of styles including:
  • Pop songs from 1920's to 1990's and present day
  • Songs from the Musicals, Shows & Films
  • Standard Songbook repertoire (e.g. Gershwin, Cole Porter, Rodgers & Hammerstein etc.)
  • Jazz
  • Blues
  • Light Classical

He is open to requests and is confident that he will know your favourite tune or piece of music.

Simon will tailor his performances specifically to suit your event be it a:

Simon was the Resident Pianist at:

  • Claridge's Hotel, London (2000-2003)
  • The Waldorf Hotel, London (2000-2002)
  • currently at The Connaught Hotel in Mayfair (2003-present)
  • onboard the world famous QE2 ocean liner for it's annual World Cruise (2003-4)
  • Queen Mary2 (2004) and onboard other prestigious cruise ships around the globe

He has entertained the great and the good; celebrities, movie stars, rock musicians and world leaders; Paul McCartney & Ringo Starr, Michael Gorbachev, Madonna, Sir David Frost, and Ozzy Osborne to name but a few!

His function work has seen him performing for Corporate Events at The Savoy Hotel (London), Blenheim Palace, Harrods, The Houses of Parliament, Le Meridien Piccadilly, The Waldorf and many of the UK's other leading venues.

  • If you don't have a piano at the venue then a full size, professional digital piano and PA can be provided. Alternatively, if the 'real' thing is essential, we would be happy to take care of the arrangements for hiring an instrument. We have relationships with various local dealers who give us a preferential rate - an upright piano for the weekend can start from as little as £175 including porterage and on-site tuning.
